Forte dei Marmi is unanimously considered the capital of political satire: more than 35.000 visitors every year, more than 200 cartoonists from different countries participate in the exhibition.

All the best Italian cartoonists were awarded here: Altan , Forattini, Pino Zac, Pericoli e Pirella, Chiappori, Staino, Giuliano ... as well as cartoonists from France (Claude Serre, Kerleroux, Tignous, Tim), from Great Britain ( Ralph Steadman, A. Krauze), from the U.S.A. (David Levine, Jules Feiffer, Garry B. Trudeau, Pat Oliphant), and from many other countries, such as Poland, Turkey, Argentina, Spain, Russia ecc..

Famous Italian writers such as Sciascia, Del Buono, Campanile, artists such as: Benigni, Arbore, Fo, Sciascia, Montanelli, Zavattini, Del Buono, Campanile, Maccari, Moretti, Ghezzi, Ricci, Gino e Michele, Maltese, Guglielmi, Chiambretti e molti altri...


The International Political Satire Festival is a multi-media event (with exhibitions, cabaret shows, meetings and activities such as research or publisher's work) which ends every year with the awarding of prizes, chosen by a Jury composed of experts and journalists.
